“The only defense against darkness is light—so shine your spirit bright.”
Fear is one of the most common emotions we face, yet one of the most misunderstood. We often treat fear as something to suppress or avoid, when in truth, it’s a signal. A teacher. A mirror.
In The Sacred Becoming, I explore how fear is not something to fight—it’s something to feel, understand, and transform. It’s not about force—it’s about flow. And when we meet fear with awareness, breath, and love, we begin to dissolve its power over us.
Feel It to Free It
When fear arises, your first task isn’t to control it—it’s to locate it. Ask yourself:
Where do I feel this fear in my body?
You might notice tightness in your chest, tension in your jaw, a knot in your belly. That’s not weakness—that’s wisdom. Your body is speaking. Listen with love.
Fear is just an emotion. Just energy. And energy can move. When you allow yourself to fully feel it—without judgment—it can begin to release.
Fear and Excitement: Two Sides of One Vibration
Here’s something powerful: fear and excitement share the same physical sensations. The same rush of energy. The same flutter in the stomach.
What changes everything is your interpretation. You get to choose:
“Am I afraid of this? Or am I about to grow?”
Imagine your spirit like a torch. When fear shows up, don’t run—light it up. Let your energy rise, your breath deepen, your light expand. Turn the darkness into illumination.
The Spirit Is Stronger
You are not weak because you feel fear. You are human. And your spirit—your true self—is infinitely stronger than anything you fear.
“Our spirit is perfect. Our essence is unshakable. Letting fear shrink that light is not what we came here to do.”
You were meant to thrive. To rise. To live boldly and beautifully.
And you already have everything within you to become your highest self.
The Two Core Emotions: Fear and Love
At the root of every emotion is either fear or love. Anger, shame, guilt—these are all branches of fear. Joy, compassion, peace—these are the fruits of love.
You get to decide: Which one leads your life?
Love doesn’t always mean softness. Sometimes, love is fierce. Courageous. Radiant. Sometimes, love says: No more shrinking. No more silence. I choose to rise.
Gratitude for the Fear
This part is hard—but transformative:
Thank your fear for showing you what you don’t want.
Thank it for reminding you of the love you do want.
Thank the people and moments that triggered your fear—because they pointed you back to your light.
Tears? Let them come. That’s your soul clearing the path. That’s healing in motion.
You Are the Light
You don’t need external approval. You don’t need permission to rise. You are your own guide. Your own guardian angel. Your greatest healer.
So offer yourself the love you’ve been waiting for. Offer your spirit the gratitude it deserves. Let it shine again.
The Shift Begins Now
Here’s how to begin your shift:
Breathe deeply into where you feel fear
Name it without judgment
Flip the emotion—fear into excitement
Affirm:
I am light.
I am safe.
I am stronger than fear.
And most importantly—believe in yourself.
Final Note
